How about having a movie date at home?

There are online movie rentals and downloadable movies, if you want to have a movie date at home. Tired of fighting traffic, crowds or lousy weather? Some days it just feels good to kick back and let yourself be entertained. Don’t forget the popcorn!

Plus all that cash you would be spending on tickets can go toward a couple of pizzas with the works! Or some other delectable food delivered to your door, or if you’re in a more ambitious mood, this gives you a chance to show off your skills as a chef, or each of you can create a dish; soup and salad, or steak and potatoes; simple or gourmet. If you don’t like romantic movies and your date does, look for something that splits the difference; like King Arthur; an excellent date movie that still has a lot of great action.

Even if you have all the channels, good chance you’ll still need more variety to find a decent movie to watch. Personally, I keep a growing library of the best in rewatchable movies, which has proved pretty useful as a back up for the depressing, unimaginative selection of continual reruns you can be stuck with on the costly cable channels. Manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of smoking pipes in USA.

Nobody in their right mind wants to introduce someone they love to Suspect Zero’s horribly saddening and too realistic graphic photographs of knife carved dead children’s lidless eyed faces, do they? Cable leaves a lot in the way of high quality to be desired. Too many sad shockers and nauseating films and too little imagination and variety. colour glass for kitchen

Enough of the documentation of evil, Okay? We know humans are subject to a myriad forms of destructive dementias where they are of the belief that other humans are of lesser worth and should be caused to suffer terrible things; we don’t need to be fed a steady diet of that kind of brain and soul food. It’s as toxic as any other venom… and the sociopaths among us have already received enough of a menu of ways to cause terrible suffering to the helpless, don’t you think?

Is the general public so fascinated with the equivalent of watching a mad dog that should be put down, tear a child to death, while they sit there and watch, drinking beer and eating nachos? Of the two, the audience attracted to this sadism is the more nauseating.

Sundance Films tend to present a better, brighter selection. I hear they’ll be opening their own string of theatres; best of luck to them. It will finally give the thinking part of the public a choice.

Anyhow, if you do watch some of the finer offerings on TV, movies and documentaries or otherwise, and want to have access to an endless library of your own choices, I noticed Netflix.com is dropping their prices; and the 'no late fee' part of their deal really makes it worth it. They’re laid back about things.

There’s another mailer type combination movie and game rentals that looks promising called GamesnFlix that says you can rent all you want for $8.99 per month, and also has no late fees, they’ve got a 14 day free trial going on.[Please excuse the obnoxious banner, their only text link was wacked out, so I couldn't use it]

DVD Planet does straight sales of new and used DVDs, offers free shipping deals for certain minimum orders, and discounts; and carries the popular Anime, too. Name it and they've probably got it..from the newest all the way back to silent films.Free shipping on on DVD orders over $25.

Then there’s an interesting outfit called Peerflix where you can buy and sell or trade DVDs you no longer care for to get ones you want, apparently for only one dollar per trade…worth checking out. Here's their link: Buy and sell your DVDs today. Click here for a FREE TRIAL

For Star Trek Fans, there’s an official Star Trek Store with some pretty reasonably priced DVD collections along with their other Trekkie apparel, books, and photos. Their link: STAR TREK books, DVDs, photos, action figures even PHASERS only at the Official StarTrek Store Visit today! store.startrek.com

For downloadable movies to rent or to own, Movielink has a 50% off rental special each week, and they have your favorite tv shows as well. Movielink(R)−Download new releases, classic films and moreThey have genre specials and they’re new movie prices are pretty fair. CinemaNow sells movies and rents them, but their draw doesn't seem to be discounts, as much as the quality and wide selection of movies you can get there that you can't through other services; such as members only movies, concerts and mature audience films. Though they carry new releases for other ratings as well. Here's their link: Movies-To-Go. Download Hollywood movies to your laptop.

Critics' Choice Video? It will take you back in time to all the great movies and stars that are now legendary.. a bit pricey? Perhaps, but worth it.
